Hello marccolemont
Thank you for the feedback. For the time being, kindly upgrade your NETGEAR AV Line switches to the latest firmware (www.netgear.com/support), if not already done, manage them with the NETGEAR Engage controller (www.netgear.com/engage). For the time being, you can name each port using the port description in the AV User Interface, either using your browser, or accessing it directly from the Engage controller:
In the future, I am taking your feedback, and I can confirm to you that we will automate it next year, so that without user intervention adding details, the port descriptions can be populated with AV template, profile name, and VLAN ID automatically. Stay tuned and thank you for using the NETGEAR AV Line!

Thanks for this quick reply. We are running the latest firmware, and will test with that tool you mentioned.
Having it in the future in the GUI of the switch itself would be great indeed.
Looking forward.

Thank you, the picture I have in the post before is available right now in the GUI of all the AV switches - just go to the AV user interface, and follow the same (Configure \ Port Configuration). It's there already, both in the GUI of the switch, and in the Engage controller.
