PC sending NDI to another PC...what QOS ?
We have a PC1 sending video using NDI app to Another PC2(receiver). PC1 is on Port 10, PC2, is on port 20. We assigned Port 10 to Queue 5, but we have no idea if this is even working or if we need to modify more things ?
We have a M4300 series switch
What should the Global Trust Mode setting be? Trust dot1p or IP-DSCP?
Do we modify anything in 802.1p to Queue Mapping 802.1p Priority for such a setting?
Do we modify anything in IP DSCP to Queue Mapping ?
Lastly how can we verify if the settings are working correctly?

Everything ok give same switch, the same IP subnet?
Curious why you are not using the AV Web UI and simply deploy the relevant profile?

The PC's are in Vlan 1. both PC1 and PC2 are in SAME subnet. The AV profile option sets up a bunch of things that make no sense to me and no verification or validation this is even working. So that is why were asking which settings are the ones we need to make it work. AV support has Not helped with any of this either.

None of these required, as long as you don't have a bigger L2 switching or L3 routing environment where you have to trust neighbouring switches and routers?

Do we modify anything in IP DSCP to Queue Mapping ?No, and no - see above why... No idea why you think you have to customize things not applicable for your use case.

What about -testing- this simple ptp NDI connection?
Starting with the very basics, for a simple point to point NDI (NDIHB or NDIHX) connection, any unmanaged Gigabit switch can do the job easily - so no rocket science is required.
Some popular applications like vMix are supporting Statistic for all NDI inputs and outputs, that's a good place to start.
For helping and testing, the NDI Tools are coming with the ability to generate NDI test patterns on a computer..
If you are keen looking into the NDI processing, start there -> NDI Analysis Tool The NDI Analysis is a command line utility that enables experienced users to delve into the performance of NDI network connections and troubleshoot issues in any workflow.

Why oh why please? Stick with the basics, especially in case you are not a hardcore switch engineer. Any believe me: If you are assigning incoming frames to a certain internal switch queue, the switch will very likely do as you desire.
Configure the VLAN, the switch ports, and assign the required profile(s). It's not difficult - see later on for the config example documentation, and make use of the free tools available.

Exact model and installed firmware makes a good starting point in a community please - then experienced community members (most are neither paid nor supported in any way by Netgear) are happy to help out.
A well ment advise: Instead of loosing yourself in the virtually thousands of pages from the various M4300 documentations, head to https://www.netgear.com/support/ - select the switch model you intend to configure. Start from the Configuration Example Guide for ProAV Installations
Helpful is always to have the free Netgear Engage Controller software installed on a computer.
