- Oct 26, 2023I changed the ip address range of VLAN4 to the 172.32 etc, plugged the inverted into a port linked to VLAN4 and it works fine

Why not set a static IP address on a laptop to same subnet accept for last octet to something different, long enough to connect to this device and set this device to what you have on the Orbi system or may set it to Dynamic IP address configuration so the device can connect to any router or any DHCP IP subnet?
