devices not connecting to satellite( SXR80)
Hi every I have placed the router on the first floor at front house,satellite downstair at the back ,which is 20 meters apart, The satellite is running ethernet backhaul . Most devices not connec...
Lots of setup issues for lots of people.
Big deal is when you setup, or update firmware, the main router ALWAYS starts first and is up and running about a minute before any sats. So everything connects to main router regardless of how poor the signal this is. If a device is a phone that moves around, it will seal out a better signal as it moves, but for iot and other fixed location devices and pc’s, all you can do is restart those devices or toggle their Wi-Fi’s off then on a few seconds later EVERY time you update firmware.
Also after being told by tech support to buy a second day to improve performance, another tech confirmed that 20 meters is about ok for direct router link, even if a sat splits the distance and is a lot closer.
A nice system, but not as nice as the hype.
