Devices not connecting to rbs750p satellite

Not sure if I made a mistake when buying this and setting this up. Bought a CBR750 cable modem/router with one RBS750 satellite. Realized that was not good enough for a large single story house and bought an add-on satellite RBS750P a few days later. The network is currently daisy-chained via 5GHz:

Router (far east corner of house) -> RBS750P (1 bedroom over to the NW, 30ft-ish away) -> RBS750 (1 bedroom over to the NW, 30ft-ish away).

Nothing but the 2nd satellite is connected to the RBS750P. I have tried rebooting, reversing the location with the other satellite, but no connections are made to RBS750P (no mobile devices either).

I need to buy another satellite because of devices on the far west (an old home with a super weird layout), which are hanging on by a thread by connecting either to the router (!!!) or maybe to the RBS750. It seems almost impossible to get another RBS750. Is the P in the satellite model number actually an issue here? What am I missing? I am okay with rebooting and changing settings via the app or the browser login with good instructions but other than that I have to give up.

What am I missing? I want coverage for the house with what I currently have plus one additional satellite, is this possible? Or did I buy the wrong satellites to add on?

Thank you for your patience with a not so tech-savvy person

Add. info: Firmware router: V4.6.14.4 (CBR750)
Firmware satellite 1: V4.6.14.3 (RBS750)
Firmware satellite 2: V6.3.8.5 (RBS750P)

Thank you for this info and for getting on this so quickly, I actually looked at that table earlier today and could not find the RBS750P... The house is 4000sqft (longish, too). Since I wanted to eliminate one device I felt that Xfinity only made the CBR750 an option.

Out of curiosity: even if the Orbi app did not complain about the new satellite and shows it as connected (still shows daisy-chained in) it is not really compatible? I bought the new satellite from BestBuy after searching for add-on satellites and missed the additional P 😞

Am I understanding correctly that I need to find (a potentially used/refurbished) RBS750 to make this work? Any other suggestions? TIA!

        Ya not really compatible.

Look for other RBS750s on Amazon, ebay or shopgoodwill.

In a pinch, NGs EAX series wifi extenders could work as a remote wifi extender. Will connect, just won't integrate like RBS will with Orbi app.
