How does Orbi Pro work with Gigafiber?

With gigafiber coming to my region, how does that affect the wifi router i select?

    wsukrauser,

    Orbi Pro is a flexible WiFi system that already has a router built into it. One of the steps that it takes during the installation process is examining the environment that it has been put into and if a router is detected upstream from Orbi Pro, it will offer two options to the user;

    1) operate in AP mode,

    or

    2) operate in Router mode.

     

    The user can then select the mode of operation depending on their needs. if the router mode is selected, Orbi Pro can handle the routing responsibilities for the network that it services, wired or wireless.
