So I got this FW loaded up. A factory reset was performed and setup from scratch using a web browser and wire connected PC. I setup AP mode as I already have a host router online.
Something I'm noticing with the SXR log in credentials...seems that after I input the admin and PW during the setup wizard, I came back the next day and could not log into the SXR using these values. I even wrote down the password to be sure. I cleared browser caches as well. I had to use the password recovery method to input a new/same PW value to gain access. I've seen this twice since loading this version of FW. It has been a while since I had used the 30 series Orbi so I wanted to try this out and put the Orbi online in AP mode. I was able to log into the system with the Insight app initially as well. I need to check again with Insight app when I noticed I can't get in with a web browser. I was using MS Edge and Opera GX when I found that I couldn't log in. I'll check on this again today and see what I find. Thought I would post this here to see if anyone else has noticed this as well.

Wanted to upate this as this is still happening. I left my SXR OFF for past few days and put it online today and again, I could not get in to the routers web page using MS Edge and the known password I gave it. The log in input window would refresh and input boxes would return as blank. I had to use the recovery method and input the router serial # to get in.
After getting in I looked at the Logs and found the following:

IM going to be putting the SXR online as main host router behind a CBR750 in modem only mode and see how things go.
I'll check for this issue while its in router mode.

Hi
Here is my suspection
1. Is your Orbi Pro manged by Insight? If yes, the password in local will be overriden by Insight. Insight takes over the control. Configuration will be provisipned from Insight to Orbi Pro
2. CBR750 synced its configuration to Orbi Pro? I am not sure.
When you find you cannot login anymore, do you see SSID name is changed in your home?

What password would Insight put in it's place then on the SXR? I know that when I had Insight running, it was able to log in to it on that app, however I didn't try after noticing that I couldn't log in on the SXRs web page. I immediately went to the recovery page to get logged back in on the SXRs web page. I would presume that Insight app should not be changing the SXRs web page log in as it should remain as what was configured by a user using the SXRs setup wizard if a user is using this setup path.
2. CBR750 synced its configuration to Orbi Pro? I am not sure. I've removed the CBR750 from service as I believe that was not working correctly with the SXK system and other Orbi systems I have. I have put in place a CAX80 in modem only mode and will retest the SXK30 system again.

Hi
Insight cloud manages devices in a location with the same password.
Once device is adopted by Insight, Insight will provision the password to the device.
The password setting in Insight: see the bottom. There is a icon with "Locations". Select "location Configuration". Check "Device Admin Password".
In fact, when devices is managed by Insight. Users should always configure or montior devices via Insight, unless there some problems.
Your suggestion is correct. I think we should put some information to tell users the failure if AP is managed by Insight.
Please check if you can login now.
