Orbi pro sxr30 2.4ghz
I am trying to link Hoot thermostats to my Orbi pro, they will not recognize the 5g. Network and no matter what I do the insight app will not allow me to separate the networks. I have read multiple threads about turning down the 5g and up the 2.4 but none of these options exist. Any pros know how to achieve this short of me buying another router?

Hello K_E_E
And welcome to the NETGEAR Community! 🙂
So you are trying to connect your Hoot Thermostats to your Orbi Pro but will not recognize the 5GHz frequency. Could it be possible that your Hoot Thermostats has only 2.4GHz wireless adapter? Were you able to check it's specifations if it supports 5GHz frequency? When you say Insight app will not allow you to separate the network, what do you mean by that? Are you pertaining about VLAN or something else?
Have a lovely day,
Erwin
