SXR30 Router loses Internet Connection every few days
I have an Orbit pro Wi-Fi 6 SXR30 Router and SXS30 Satellite unit. Firmware is on auto update and currently running 4.0.1.100 I've had the router since November 2021 and it has been fairly ...

Niffydroid the good thing about it is this is the pro forum and its a pro device. I'd make your own forum post about it. As the pro equipment gets more attention from the mod's and firmware team. With your own thread, they're more likely to contact you for help with logs/etc to try to fix the issue.

I thought I had this fixed but sadly, no.
I thought the recent firmware update V4.2.0.122 referencing "Fixes an issue where the NTP server can be blocked by ISPs in the U.S." was the issue but I continue to experience disconnects.
Here's the log from tonight's disconnect:

192.168.1.30 is me on my laptop where I logged in to check the router log right after being disconnected.
192.168.1.27 is one of two Amazon Echo dots I have. Surely the Echo Dots are not causing this?

Any thoughts? I work from home and I'm getting ready to chuck this mesh router in the bin and return to my old router.

Hi coolgreany Could you please send me debug logs via PM?
- coolgreanyApr 28, 2022Guide
RaghuHR ,
Thanks for your help. I had another disconnect overnight 28-Apr-2022 04:07I restarted router to get back online April 28, 2022 07:01:24I had DST enabled so the time in logs may be offset by an hour (don't know without looking at them)I'm not sure I had the debug log enabled but I think I have them enabled now.In case the debug log was enabled, I'll send you a copy of the current downloaded log. If nothing found there, If it goes out again I will download and send an update to you.As suggested in some other discussions, I've turned off traffic metering, disabled daylight savings time and offset the time zone to match my current time. One other piece of info, I did have the satellite turned off last night as I had read to leave that off when rebooting. I've powered on the satellite now.- coolgreanyApr 28, 2022GuideJust lost connection again a few minutes ago approximately 28-Apr-2022 22:14.I work from home and need to be available most hours of my waking day. I can't afford to continue using the Orbi pro router unless this can be fixed.I thought I was upgrading to a better router that would provide better coverage for my home but apparently that was a mistake on my part.I'm not a business and don't have any clients logging into the router but I thought this was a solid choice to upgrade to provide better Wi-Fi coverage in my home.I'm going to be on travel soon and need a solid router to access home security camera systems. I can't afford to leave knowing this router will disconnect every few days or even every few hours.Unless I can fix this in the next week or so I'll plan to reinstall my old router until I can have more confidence in the Orbi system..
