SXR30 Satellite weridness
I was only able to get my SXR30 to sync for the first few weeks after purchase (more than a year ago). By now, at the very least, the firmware is not the same as the router. Anyways, I decided to ...
I was unable to figure out the firmware version of the satellite, but I did see something else weird. On the web interface home page, it lists the number of satellites as "1", but under VLan/Bridge settings, it says "No Satellite". And the satellite is listed under "attached devices" but with status "N/A". (Mind you, I write all this while connected to the router only via wifi backhaul -- the only wired connection is my macbook to the satellite).
