Finally could solve the pb simply by deleting my devices from insight and adding them again.
On subscriptions page in insight portal (or app) it is only showing number of devices , not details of every device with its subscription.
So I guess this is just a bug from upgrade (validity dates for existing devices got lost.
But it is uneasy to check as those dates are showing nowhere.
I am just glad I did not have to buy new insight bulk licenses, to keep it working.
However I simply wonder what happens now after 5 years, I guess it means you cannot manage anymore your device unless you buy Insight subscriptions… I also saw that for some devices (switches) the bundled licenses are valid only one year.
I wonder who want decently to buy a so called “managed switch for one year “ and pay for xtra every year to keep managing it.

After 5 years, you need to add the licenses to continue the Insight management. Same when adding say Insight managed switches or Access Points coming with bundled one-year license(s). It shouldn't be required to remove or re-add devices t no point. Looks like a glitch to me.
It's a little nifty admin process if you are operating a slowly grown Insight environment, to ensure the licenses required are ready when required..
An opt-out of Insight is difficult, as it requires to remove the devices from Insight, do a factory default, changing back to local management. Not what most users want I guess.
