Netgear Armor subscription cancelation

I cancelled my subscription in the app, and received a cancellation email, but have been billed again.

How do I go about fixing this?

  • I'd like to know this too. I already emailed customer support with all the relevant info. I thought, after doing this I will just remove my CC from the account so it doesn't happen again, nope. You cannot remove your CC. I got frustrated knowing they wont let me remove it. My next plan is to dispute the charge and maybe see if I can get my CC company to flag them and decline all charges or freeze my card and get a new one. Seems a little extreme but for a company touting security features they are coming off a bit scammy,

Thanks but that doesn't help anyone who has not authorized a charge on their CC when auto renew is toggled "Off". My account on the website says OFF, my app says OFF. My email says, thanks for auto renewing! Netgear can easily fix their problem but it's a UI design choice to not allow me to delete my CC and a pretty poor choice to just auto charge anyone who's CC is on file (if that's not the case then I don't know).

I'm in almost the same situation.

I turned off the auto-renew in the app several days before renewal.

I checked the web site and it says off.

        But I was still billed!

  • A year ago I already thinking to cancel the subscription but didn't know how to cancel and so the subscription was renewed and

    continue for one more year.

Now i finally find out how to cancel the auto renewal.

I just login to this link to cancel auto renewal and deleted my CC

After login to your account, you can set a password so that next time you can use password to login.

In the renewal notice, at the bottom of email, that is where I find out the link:
