On new RS100 installation I cannot find any way to disable Netgear Armor
June 2026, On new RS100 installation I cannot find any way to disable Netgear Armor. (I did activate the Nighthawk Armor free trial. Is that the reason I cannot disable?)

Do a Factory Reset and configure the router from scratch. This time, be careful not to enable Armor.
p.s. Some people would find a Factory Reset to be a lot of trouble, especially if they have spent a lot of time customizing settings. In that case, just turning it off might be less painful. In 30 days, it will be gone.
- Connect to your router's WiFi network.
- Launch the app and tap the Home/Cloud icon in the top left corner.
- Go to Settings > Security.
- Toggle the Enable NETGEAR Armor slider to the Off position
