Orbi AX6000 - Security Tab: "Device Is Offline"
Purchased an Orbi via Ebay. Took hitting the factory reset button to get it to cooperate in Setup. Now I'd like to add Armor to the router, but when I click the Security tile in the app it just says "Device is offline" and then dumps me back out.
What gives?
Model is RBR850
Looks like that version was just released.
did you do the factory reset after you loaded that firmware or before?
If it was before, try the factory reset 1 more time.
If that doesn't help, you'd need to contact support for help adding armor.
To get a hold of support for subscriptions services like Armor/Circle, click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process.
Click on: My Support---->Contact Support---->Get help with my subscription service

What modem/gateway is the router connected to?
Well, it's an ARRIS SURFboard SB8200, but why should that matter for this?

Because sometimes double nats can cause issues.
Is the router online and working?
Is there anything else plugged into the SB8200? it has 2x ethernet ports but most ISP's only allow 1 to be used
