Website Getting Blocked by NETGEAR Armor

Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue where my friend website is being blocked by NETGEAR Armor, and I believe it may be a false positive. Users connected through NETGEAR routers with Armor enabled are unable to access the site, and they receive a security warning or the page fails to load entirely.

The website is secure (HTTPS enabled, valid SSL certificate, no malware or suspicious scripts), and it loads normally on networks without Armor enabled. I’ve already checked server logs and security scans, and nothing abnormal has been detected from my side.

I’d like to understand what could cause NETGEAR Armor to block a legitimate website and what steps I can take to request a review or whitelist the domain. If anyone has dealt with a similar issue or knows how to report false positives to Armor/Bitdefender, I’d really appreciate your guidance.

Thanks in advance for any help or direction

Try a Google search on "netgear armor false positive"

I could not paste the results.  they were:

in the Orbi/Nighthawk app go to the Security tile > Threats Blocked, tap the URL and select "Unblock Access"

If a URL is consistently blocked, submit it for review via the Bitdefender false positive form:

      https://www.bitdefender.com/business/support/en/77209-343057-submitting-sample-files-and-websites-for-analysis.html

Thanks for the pointers, that’s really helpful.

I wasn’t aware you could manually unblock a specific URL directly from the Orbi/Nighthawk app under Security → Threats Blocked, so I’ll have my friend try that first as a temporary workaround. Submitting the domain through the Bitdefender false positive form also sounds like the right long-term fix if Armor keeps flagging it incorrectly.

I’ll go ahead and submit the site for review and monitor whether the block gets lifted after analysis. Appreciate you sharing the exact steps and link that gives me a clear path forward.
