Through the netgear genie I can see everything that is going on except I cannot access the area that lets me change my password. it keeps saying no router connected and to make sure my router is supported and no Ipv6 is connected. This is driving me nuts! please help. My model number is wndr3400v3 and I am using a mac

  • same issue here although for some reason I am able to access it from a browser on my iphone.  I was not able to access the router settings through mywifiext.net on the iphone.  I had to enter the router IP address on the iphone browser and access that way.  You might want to try that.

Thank you for sharing you experience. Unfortunatly it did not work for me. I tried it on my computer and phone. Nothing would happen. I keep seeing the work firmware. Is this something I should investigate? I don't even know what it is.

  • Although it might not be the best solution, I just went out and bought a Nighthawk router! It's working great and I can access everything I need. It was way more expensive but the benefits have been way worth it. My download and upload speeds are much better and my girlfriend and I can stream without messing with eachothers bandwidth. Not to sound like a sales pitch but I'm just so damn happy everything finally works better.
