netgear genie remote log in
I just got my new nighthawk router and hooked it up yesterday. i also downloaded the genie app on my samsung s7. i am able to use the network map at the home setting but when i try to do remote setting, it wont let me in and questions my email....I tried to set up a new account thinking maybe i hadnt set anything up for that yet. it tells me i already have that email but it wont let me log in with that email. what do i do?

yes i am. i am thinking about uninstalling the app and then starting over? also, i was kind of confused when i set it and the new router originally so who knows what i did!

also when i set up the new router, i only did it with my android phone. should i have done it with my laptop first? i almost never use it

Hi jkk6861,
1. Please try uninstalling and re-installing the app/program and keep us posted on the results.
2. Please try using another device (another computer, smartphone, tablet).
3. What is the model number and firmware version of the router?
4. Have you tried resetting the router?
