Nighthawk App device manager change
A few days ago, my nighthawk app(most current version) changed from a device list with switches to dis/enable devices to a new list with a white background. There are no switches anymore. I removed the app and reinstalled and no change. Also the main menu has a support & parental controils choice. Does anyone know if this is a change in the app features? All I want to do is turn off access to devices and I cannot do that now. Can anyone explain how I can get back to what I had?
thanks

Hello pseidel,
May you check to see if your router is due for a firmware update. During this time you may also reinstall the Nighthawk app.

The same thing happened to me with my brand new router this week. I installed the app and updated the firmware and had about a day or so with the original Device Manager interface with the black background that had the option of sorting by connection type, then the next day I woke up to see it had been replaced by a different interface with a white background and no option to sort by connection type. Were you ever able to resolve the issue, and if so, what was the solution? Thanks.

This also happened to me. App is running on Android, app version is 2.9.6.1513. Router is RAX15 (which Netgear seems to no longer believe exists!? as I can't choose it in the model above)... and firmware version is 1.0.2.82.
PLEASE fix this. Note that on main screen 'Device Manager' shows 15 devices connect. But when I click the button it opens 'Devices' page, showing 'Home' profile with 0 devices.
Netgear Nightgear app broke this very solidly with the last app update. Please either revert your deployed app to the prior version or fix this IMMEDIATELY. It's badly broken.

Hello,
We're hoping to release a new Nighthawk app version for Android soon. Please stay tuned!

You released a new vesrion of Nighthawk. I installed it and got nothing. Device Manager link takes a long time, then opens a page that just says 'Devices (0)'. Plus there is no firmware update for RAX15. I'm beginning to suspect there never will be again.

The database of "drop down" options is hopelessly out of date. Netgear doesn't seem to even try to maintain it.
Fortunately, the support database is more reliable.
Manuals are always a good place to start.
