Nighthawk App for Windows 10 PC?

I just replaced my old Netgear router with a R7000. Geek Squad set it up for me.  I then tried to download the Nighthawk App on my Window 10 PC, and could only find an Android and iOS version for mobile devices. Is there a Win 10 version that I can download, or do I just continue to use my old Genie app (it seems to be working)?

You can log in via a browser at routerlogin.net

I prefer this login to the apps.

    Find it here:

genie Landing Page | Apps | Discover | Home | NETGEAR

You will have to dismiss the obtrusive popup that touts the apps.

What version do you have now? Current here is 2.4.62. They aren't device specific, so the old one should be fine.

  • Stick with the Netgear Genie - from my experience, it is far better than th nighthawk i use on my android phone. Anytime I can use the Genie, I do. Its a dirty shame that the designers don't take into consideration the level of the users and their needs. If they did, they would have incorporated new features into the Genie and re-released it for all platforms. I have Genie on all my devices in spite of having Nighthawk on some for the updating that Genie won't do.

Netgear Genie literally does not work for me. Half of its functions are broken.

It works for most people, but without a few clues as to what is going wrong at your end, no one can suggest how you can get back in business.
