Phone app
I have a R7000 router and the phone that I used to setup the router with no longer works. I have a new phone am I wondering can I install the app again on new phone and would it just automatically auto detect the existence of network? Would it make me setup network again? I have forgotten the password on the connection and I always used the app to look it up.
I don't want to disrupt what is already setup.

If you have a new phone and install the NH app, you should be able to log into the app with the NH email account you used first, then the app will as you the log in information for the router, so 'admin' and the password used to log into the routers web page.
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:
NETGEAR Mobile Applications and Android/Apple/Windows Devices FAQ | NETGEAR CommunitiesIf you don't know the admin password of the router, try the recovery using a PC and web browser option with router.
If this fails you'll need to factory reset the router and setup from scratch, either using a PC and web browser or the NH app.

What would be the instructions for recovery using PC and web browser?
An thank you for the help!

This is ambiguous. There are three sets of credentials involved when using & managing a Netgear WiFi router:
- The WiFi credentials (SSID & password). "out of the box" and when Factory Reset, these credentials are set to match what is printed on the label on the bottom of the router.
Most users change these to something they find more suitable. In my case, I set the credentials of every new router (and every Factory Reset) to be exactly the same as I have been using for my home WiFi for 20+ years. (Sort of wish I had picked a shorter password 20 years ago. "oh well")
The WiFi credentials are required to allow the new phone to connect to the R7000 WiFi. If you do not know them, then you cannot connect any new WiFi device and will have to Factory Reset. - The web administration credentials (user name is always "admin" <lower case> and the password was originally <"password"> but users are badgered into changing it during the setup.
Sometimes when installing the smartphone app, it wants you to enter the web admin credentials. If you do not remember them, then the Password Recovery process will help provided that you defined recovery answers during the original setup. (many users seem to skip over this step, or do not actually "pull down" the menu to select questions). In this case, the only remaining option is a Factory Reset. - The smartphone app credentials, i.e. the email address used to log in to the Netgear account (also this Forum) plus a unique password.
Since you are posting on the Forum, we hope you remember these credentials.
So, which credentials have you forgotten?

The second one, like how or what website do i go to?
- The WiFi credentials (SSID & password). "out of the box" and when Factory Reset, these credentials are set to match what is printed on the label on the bottom of the router.

The Netgear router typically appears on the LAN at 192.168.1.1 (i.e. the "gateway" to the internet)
