WNDR3700v2 and Netgear Genie and Readyshare
I have a USB storage device connected to my router as \\readyshare and I can access it on the network. If I login to my router using a browser and 192.168.1.1, I can setup my router settings. I am also able to change the \\readyshare settings. But if I get to the router using Genie, it says this router does not support Readyshare and it won't let me access the \\readyshare settings. Anyone else seeing this?

To answer your question, NETGEAR Genie is not supported on WNDR3700v2.
Here's the list of supported models and version of routers that will work with NETGEAR Genie.
The best way to access the hard drive is to use \\Readyshare or \\192.168.1.1 (IP Address of the router).
I hope this answers your question.
