Image Upload Broken

Unable to upload photos to my Meural Canvas. It fails in the app, and fails with the web version too. I've attempted photos I've previously uploaded to the Canvas -- standard JPGs taken from my iPhone. The API seems to be returning a 500. This has been happening for days. 

 

Please fix, as I deleted a whole bunch of photos and galleries, and am not able to upload anything new.

 

This is not a space issue. I have 3.8gb of space remaining.

  • You are not alone!  I am having the same problem. I uninstall the app and reinstall the app but that did nothing to resolve the issue.  Hey, Meural, please resolve this, it's very frustrating

      Same here all day trying to figure it out.  I tried on the browser (Chrome) nothing (Safari) nothing.  App (IOS) deleted the app and reinstalled and the same. Tried an older ipad thinking its an app (IOS) bug and no luck. I turned off the wifi on the phone thinking its a network issue and still the same with a service provider with my cell phone.  I also reset the wifi on both my canvas's as I have 2 of them one in portrait position and the other in landscape position.  Still the same issue, I even called Netgear and they weren't aware of the issue and the proceed they wanted $49.99 lowest 3 month customer support plan to continue.  Freaking joke.  Netgear if you ladies are watching these threads please fix this issue.  It has nothing to do with the format of the image.  Standard JPEG doesn't even work.  Pictures I've uploaded years ago won't upload today.   Done every trouble shooting you can think of and restarting my network and even created a new SSID for the frames at 2.4ghz only thinking there is a bug with the 5ghz.  NADA.  Cleared the network and started setup from scratch on the Meural Canvas and nothing no luck.  Mine started on 6/17/26.  NETGEAR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Might be a Netgear issue I'm having trouble even providing a screen shot of the error that I took from my phone.

  • Certain it’s a NETGEAR issue. This happened last year; the upload API was down for weeks. The netgear team doesn’t seem to have good alerting when parts of their API degrades. Contacting support has been useless and they don’t have the context to do anything. They don’t seem to loop in the engineering team and point to unrelated knowledge base or forum articles.

      Thanks for the feedback. Let me know if you have luck.  Or any luck trying to call and rattle them to fix it.  I did try uploading their own provided pictures that show on the app and those upload. However nothing when you do your own pictures.

      Please make contact with NG support regard this. This issue is beyond forum help and will need to be handled by NG support.
