Meural canvas not powering past boot screen

Question

My Canvas stopped working randomly. It was working fire for a year and stopped working. I've tried factory resetting but it won't load past the initial boot screen. It just goes black. I called support and was told it's an hardware solution other than buy a new one. I'm out of A LOT of money. Anyone else have this issue?

No solution, sadly. I've talked to support a couple of time and each time we eventually get to "sorry, your device is out of warranty". The only option is to purchase a new device, which I would not do after this one died a shortly after a year.

I understand that you are not able to successfully factory reset your Meural Canvas to resolve the black screen issue.
&nbsp;
The following steps have been proven to resolve this issue:
&nbsp;

First, Remove your Meural Canvas from your Meural app.
 Then uninstall the Meural App.
 Next, hold down the factory reset button on your Meural Canvas.&nbsp;
 Then disconnect the power adapter for 30 seconds
 Now, plug in the power adapter and wait for the start-up screen.&nbsp;
 Then release the reset button.

I removed the canvas and app from my device. Then went through the reset cycle a few times. The start up screen appears for a while then back to the black screen with no response.
