Playlist MC327

How can you move a photo from one playlist to another?  If you select the photo from the playlist, there is not an option under the three dots concerning playlists.  If you view the photo (or any photo) from uploads, there is an option to add to a playlist, even though the photo is already in a playlist.  If you select it "add to playlist", what happens?  Is it in both playlists, has it moved from on eto the other?  If it is in both playlists, is the photo duplicated, taking up unnecessary space?

Thanks

Larry

    Hello larryrup ,

    Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!

I understand that you would like to move photos from one playlist to another using your Meural app. One way to achieve this is to add the desired work to the desired playlist from the original playlist. Then remove the photo from the original playlist.

To achieve this please follow the steps below:

    1. Open your Meural app then tap "Your Library".
    2. Tap the playlist that your photo is currently located in.
    3. Next, tap your desired photo.
    4. Then, tap add to the playlist.
    5. Tap the playlist you would like to move your photo to.
    6. Finally, tap "Remove From Playlist" ( If this step is done right after the step above the photo will be removed from the original playlist).

    Best,

Thanks for the reply.  I have one more bit of confusion on playlists.  From the web interface, if I choose canvas, across the top starting about half way to the right, there are the following options:  Settings Scheduler Playlists Linkedalbums and Works.   If I choose playlists, two are displayed, and when I choose the three dots (...), there is no options to add or remove from a playlist.  What are these?  They are marked "On Meural" If I choose my initials and then playlists, the lists I created are available and I can move or delete them from the playlist.  What are the these?  Why aren't the lists I created shown?  I know I can display the lists I created as I mentioned above, but I do not understand why selecting anything marked Playlist does not display all the playlists.  How can I move them to the playlists I created?  See snips attached.

      Thanks

      Larry

        Hello larryrup,

        Thank you for your response!

I will be happy to answer your questions!

When you use the web GUI and navigate to “settings” you are navigating to your Meural Canvases settings. When you navigate to “Canvases” ->” Playlist”,  there are two playlists called sampler classic and sampler modern. These are the generic playlists that are included with your Meural Canvas. The sampler playlists can be shared or added to the favorites but not edited. The playlists that are shown under the “Canvases”->Playlist option, are the playlists that have been sent to your Meural Canvas. Once you send a playlist from the “Playlist” option to your Meural Canvas, the playlist’s name will be available under the “Canvases”->” Playlist” option. Your custom playlist can also be edited under the “Canvases” -> “Playlist” option once it has been sent to your Meural Canvas. Otherwise, you will need to navigate to the” Playlist” option located under your initials to see an overview of your available playlists.

  • The platform may allow adding a photo to multiple playlists simultaneously, avoiding duplication but ensuring it's accessible from both playlists. However, the absence of a direct option to move a photo between playlists could be a limitation in the platform's functionality.

  • Using "resero" in the plural form "reseramus" could convey the intended meaning of "we opened" in the context of locksport competitions. It aligns well with the action of unlocking and could resonate effectively with the group's activities.

      Hello stevenbell ,

      Welcome to the NETGEAR Commuinty!

I understand that you would like to send your playlist to another Meural Canvas that you have registered on your Merual app.

Please follow the steps below to send a playlist to an additional Canvas using your Meural app:

      Navigate to "CANVAS".

Tap the arrow next to your Meural Canvases name then select your preferred Canvas.

      Now navigate to "YOUR LIBRARY".

      Navigate to your desired playlist.

      Then select "Send to CANVAS"

      Best,

      Kevin

  • I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem?

I now have two frames (in the same house sharing the same wifi network).

I have one playlist for frame #1.

I would like to use this same playlist on frame #2.

I haven't been able to figure out how to create a new playlist for frame #2 within the app on my iphone and then allow the images to shuffle on both screens (it doesn't matter if it's the same image being displayed simultaneously on both frames).

    Thanks
