cant change IP address range values in LAN DHCP setting
I am using MR60 router. I cant change DHCP range in LAN setting from admin console. As soon as I change ending IP address (last four digits) from 10.0.0.254 to 10.0.0.250 and click Apply, the router restarts and changes the value back to 10.0.0.254.

I downloaded latest firmware release v1.1.8.142 and manually updated it.. Still not able to change the range, but I am able to add static IP within the DHCP range. I will use 10.0.0.252 as static IP for Pi-hole for now. Hopefully, won't see any conflict.

Still suggest trying a factory reset.
Or reserve the IP address in the router.

I agree with StephenB that a Factory Reset would be a useful step, if only to confirm whether it makes any difference (or not).
MR60's are available on eBay for $25, so I ordered one and it arrived yesterday. Set it up today and tested the LAN Setup feature:
Came with firmware 1.1.7.134 and Firmware Update displayed "no new firmware available."
Changed DHCP pool from 254 to 250.
MR60 restarted and pool was set to 192.168.1.2 through 192.168.1.250
Manually updated firmware to 1.1.8.142 (from the Netgear support web site)
Changed DHCP pool to 192.168.1.3 through 192.168.1.240
MR60 restarted and pool remained set as desired.
Thus, I am unable to reproduce the problem with LAN Setup.
