turning off Armor and then turning off the MR60 and MS60s worked. I am going to turn Armor back on and live with the issue for now. Thanks.

Does this happen over wireless and wired connections?
Is Armor enabled by chance?
There is a more recent FW version that you might try:

Thanks for the feedback. It is only wireless devices that I am having an issue with. I have one wired device (my apple Time Capsule where my backups go) but all of the Macs seem to be able to see it to perform backups.
My route does not believe that there are any FW updates available. I know that I can update manually. How safe is it to upload that new version?
Thanks again.

Using a wired PC and web browser connected to the MR is recommended. First update the MS then MR lastly.
Did you turn OFF the MR and MS for 1 minute then back ON after disabling Armor?

I will try disabling ARMOR and turning off the MR and MS at an opportune moment.
Right now my workaround is to hook the two systems up via Ethernet. Given the low need for sharing between the two systems, that is probably good enough at this point. Will consider the updated firmware approach. Thanks.

And, yes, Armor is turned on. I will turn it off and see if it makes a difference.

turning off Armor made no difference. This is a minor annoyance at this time and don't want to brick my system by doing a manual firmware upload at this time.
