Ms60 and Ethernet via switch?

Question

Trying to setup a MS60 satellite in my backyard that has an Ethernet port. But when I check the details section in the Nighthawk app it always says the connection is 5ghz wireless. How can I verify I'm using the Ethernet port, there are no blinking lights at the port like regular port. Also, can it be connected via a switch panel or does it have to by a direct connection to the router?

You mean you're trying to connect the satellite using a hardwired backhaul?&nbsp;
You can do that via a switch. I've seen some smart switches/managed switches that had issues but you can do that.&nbsp;
