MR60
I'm looking at buying the MK83 mesh wifi for my home, I currently have the MR60. I was wondering if I keep just the satellite from the MR60 will it work with the MK83? If it will work, does it automatically sync or do I have to manually add it and what does that include? Yes I have a need for 3 satellites and 1 base. I'm trying to get signal to parts of my house that are faraday caged so to speak and moving the metal isn't an option.MR80 unable to communicate with router to manually update firmware
My MR80 recently bricked with corrupted firm ware. Exterior light is blinking white. I've tried cycling it on and off and verified the cables I use are good. Factory reset pressed when the router is powered on does nothing. I was following the instructions (including manually setting the IP of the computer) to manually update the firmware via tftp using command prompt but I can't maintain a connection long enough to send the file. While the router is blinking white, my computer registers the Ethernet connection as "Media disconnected" (via ipconfig). When I try to send the file I get the message "connection request failed". When I try to ping (using command prompt) the router IP I get "request timed out" If I hold the factory reset while connecting the router to power and continue holding it, the blinking white led will turn amber for about 10 seconds. During the time when it's amber ipconfig registers the connection to the router reflecting the static IP/subnet/gateway I set. Once the light goes back to blinking white, I no longer get a responses. When the light is amber and I ping the router IP (in command prompt) I get 1ms response with 0%loss.The light goes back to the blinking white independent of whether or not I continue to hold the factory reset. The time the amber is lit is insufficient to receive the firmware. I've tried different ports on the router with no difference. I've tried everything I can think of but unless I can get the computer to communicate with the router for longer I can't figure out how to get the firmware uploaded.DNS Problems with Mesh VPN
Hello Everyone! I currently have a nighthawk netgear mesh system (MR60) and was able to setup a VPN through open VPN. I am able to connect to the network externally fine at this point in time. I am able to then connect to my PC though my IP address through Microsoft RDP app on my phone which is great however I have a use to be able to connect to my PC by its name. Has anyone had any luck with doing this? I heard it is a DNS issue however I am unsure how to resolve this with the router settings! Thank you!Ms60 and Ethernet via switch?
Trying to setup a MS60 satellite in my backyard that has an Ethernet port. But when I check the details section in the Nighthawk app it always says the connection is 5ghz wireless. How can I verify I'm using the Ethernet port, there are no blinking lights at the port like regular port. Also, can it be connected via a switch panel or does it have to by a direct connection to the router? Thanks.Mesh won’t load websites on iOS
We have a Mesh MR60 (router firmware v1.1.6.122) getting 600MBPS speeds to the house via cable (connected to a CM1100 modem). iPhones on iOS 15.3.1 will frequently not be able to load webpages when on the Mesh wifi, but switching to cell service instantly load those same pages. What’s up with the NETGEAR wifi service?
