Nighthawk Wifi Mesh System with Xfinity Gateway
I previously had my own modem connected to a Nighthawk Dual-Band WiFi 6 Mesh System (router with one satellite). I recently upgraded to the xFinity Gateway that has a built-in modem and router. I want to continue using my nighthawk mesh system. Is there a way to connect the gateway with the mesh system without enabling bridge mode, so I can continue using the xFi abilities?
When I connect the Nighthawk mesh router to the Xfinity gateway 2 wifi signals being emitted. I would prefer to have 1 wifi network with the mesh wifi capabilities. I do not want to bridge the two because I want to continue using the xFi software that Comcast offers. Does anyone know if it's possible to get these two products to become compatible without creating a double NAT problem?

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3.
