Router hiccups?
My Nighthawk Tri-Band WiFi 6 Mesh Router(MR80) seems to be having internal hiccup problems. Sonos will disconnect, the security cameras will disconnect, the Alexis throughout the house will disconnect and reconnect. This just started recently, I'm running the most recent firmware, not sure of any other changes or updates to the system.
I have rebooted the router several times, it uses 2 satellites and they seem to be fine as well.
Not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

1. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?
2. the router/satellites can have different firmware versions. what is on each one? (and don't say the latest)
3. what actually happens? Hiccups don't tell us much. Do devices say "connected, no internet", do they disconnect from the ssid, do they not see the ssid broadcasting at all, do wired devices drop? Details are key to helping out.

It looks like my firmware is up-to-date and consistent across the router and satellites. This really seems to be my wireless continuously switching on my devices for some reason.
The signal is very strong, and my download upload speeds are consistent with what they've always been. But my devices seem to be going back and forth on my wireless network.
I do not broadcast my SSID. I was running a guest network for a while, but I have disabled that.

about the only question you answered was what firmware you're on.
You don't actually describe what you're seeing other than they appear to be going back and forth.
And you didn't put what modem/gateway you're connected to.
Its really hard to help off limited info.
If this is a new device, you can always contact support and use the free 90 days of support.
To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days. And hiding your ssid only really hurts your setup. Any hacker that knows enough to hack in, is going to find a hidden ssid easily.
- ReasonableApAspirantI have the exact same issue. Internet drops for 10 seconds and everything (Alexa, Netflix, etc) scrambles to reconnect. Sometimes I need to reboot router for connection to restart. Firmware installed on router and satellites is V1.1.6.14. I’m thinking of resetting to factory settings. Any ideas would be welcomed.

Ultimately, the only thing that helped me was the factory reset. With the mesh system I have learned to reboot the router while only having the 1st satellite powered up. I give it plenty of time to connect to that satellite, and then I plug in the 2nd satellite so that they are sequenced away I want them.
I've also found that my Sonos system devices will take whatever IP they want, despite some of my other devices being on a static IP. Sonos technical support confirmed this, it has something to do with Sonos devices not understanding a tri-band set up in a mesh system.
