Blocked telemetry system
I upgraded my modem routers from the ISP providers standard gear. Before I had the ISP provider modem attached to a UeeVii wireless bridge to an apartment that had a Netgear splitter and the apartment Ethernet devices and the septic telemetry Ethernet all worked fine.
Now I have a CM 2500 modem with an XR100 router in the main house. I have the UeeVii bridge connected to the router which in turn is connected to an other XR100 router in the apartment. All of the devices in the apartment are working but the septic telemetry call keeps getting blocked. I have no blocked devices on either router and no blocked services on either router. Can see the ling in the log and then about 3 minutes later a DoS notation in the log. I have looked and looked at what might be the problem and I have some up empty handed. Any thoughts out there?
It might be necessary to perform a new setup on the septic system.
Because each router creates a unique LAN subnet, the IP addresses assigned by this new XR1000 router will be different from the IP addresses assigned by the original XR1000 router.
Ordinarily, we expect computer devices to adapt to changing networks by issuing a new DHCP request ("tell me what IP to use and where the gateway is") If the septic system has been on line all this time, perhaps it is continuing to use the previous network assignment and is looking for a gateway IP that it can no longer reach.
Before rushing off and resetting the septic system, it might be worth taking a minute to decide how you intend to deal with having "two routers". i.e. do an internet search on "Double NAT problems". Most users would rather avoid potential problems in the future by running that second XR1000 in Access Point (AP) mode, which might mean that the septic system will suddenly work again.

First off septic telemetry. I have a high tech septic system for the detached apartment that is electronically monitored for problems. If a problem arises it sends a signal to the company to come and fix it. It also sends a ping once month. No ping has been received since I put in the new equipment.
There are 2 XR1000 routers one in the main house and one in the detached apartment. Both serve as routers and Wifii points. The one in the apartment feeds three Ethernet cables for 2 computers and a gaming station. All of those work fine. It is just the communication one that seems to get rejected. There does not appear to be any blocked equipment or services that show up in the DumaOS platform.

Sorry for the delay but it took me awhile to execute. It appears the double NAT issue was the problem. Although I did power down the transmitter and re-powered it up as well. We put the downstream router in AP mode. There does not appear to be any loss of functionality as a result of speed etc and the telemetry now is working. Thanks to all for the help.
- Good advice above, however could you disable Adblocker on the router and then check again please?
I do not see the word "blocker" in the XR1000 User Manual. How does the user control it?
