Factory reset gained a navigable DumaOS

Same issue. FW 1.0.2.86. Factory reset gained a navigable DumaOS, but the restoration of backup config put me right back in the same boat again of "DumaOS is not running!"

I unpacked the cfg file I have and can't determine the root issue from the variable values within. I see {hwtype} is set to value "RAX50", but I assume that is simply due to the base the firmware is built on top of. It still takes the default device name of "XR1000" though.

AP-only mode is offered as an option in the settings, but it seems to be poorly designed. So I am not sure if that is the cause for whatever the current issue is.

(And why on earth do we have to go through the entire initial setup process before we can upload a backup file that overwrites all those initial settings?? It's torturous)

The best and most likely solution is to do a factory reset which is generally advised after updating to a new firmware version. Then set up from scratch. Do NOT use the older backup config file. Once setup, generate a new backup configuration to file. You maybe introducing the problem using your older back up config file.
