Hilfe zum xr500 info
Hi, ich zieh ende diesen monats um und krieg ein internet mit min. 54 mbits und max. 100 mbits, krieg ein modem/router von der telekom. Ich werde hauptsächlich am PC über Lan zocken und das wlan für handy und ps4 nutzen, meine Frage dazu. Würde mir eventuell einen xr500 besorgen und den telekom router brauch ich noch zusätzlich oder (zwischen router xr500 und Pc hab ich gelesen glaub ich)? und Lohnt sich das denn den xr500 zu nehmen wenn ich hauptsächlich über Lan zocke? Sprich ob mit dem xr500 über lan auch eine verbesserung zu sehen ist als mit gutem telekom router.
The XR500 can stop local devices from using a lot of bandwidth but the main limit on bandwidth is always going to be over WAN. Compared to that, your LAN speeds are practically unlimited. So I would say the XR500 is unlikely to make much difference to speeds over LAN.

- It isn't required for internet but it would greatly improve the quality and prevent you from lagging when you're playing online!
