I have recently upgraded to the the latest firmware. I live in China and I waited so long for the newest features. I am running the latest software, I have ping assist and auto ping. It doesn't have hybrid VPN. I need help asap. I am running on the XR500 V2.3.2.40

I see Netgear's point, VPNs are a big grey area in China and Netgear wont want any trouble by offering its Hybrid VPN feature. The only way around this problem I see is running the VPN separately instead on Netgear.There are alot of vpn for china available.

Hybrid VPN is selectable between Network Montor and System Information: Enable Block Traffic If VPN Disconnects VPN SETUP Information Logs Provider N/A Username N/A Country N/A City N/A Protocol N/A Status No VPN configured

It may be that due to your location it has been disabled, instead you should have the option to use a specific Chinese gaming VPN in the Settings

I can't see it, and I don't have it.

I just can't see it and is not in my options.

  I believe it's triggered by the interface language, change it to your native language, does the Chinese VPN appear in settings then? Also didn't see a screenshot of settings

    It has vpn service but I had it in all previous versions and no vpn client.

  I am not sure. Netgear should at least inform us about this issue in China before buying this product.
