INTEL 9260 How To 1733 Mbps??
I have HT160 enabled with the latest firmware update for the XR500.
Max speeds for 2.4 Ghz channel is set to 800, and 1733 for the 5 Ghz channel. (higher channels)
20/40 Coexistence is disabled. Not sure if that plays a role in this issue.
My Intel Wifi 9260 Card (latest driver installed) is only getting the max speed of 866 mbps.
Some have said the 5 Ghz needs to be on lower channels (please tell me what range) to get the 1733 on my Intel 9260 card.
All help is appreciated. (Not my screenshot, but for visual aid.)
couple things.
Make sure the intel drive is the most current. Intel drivers have had issues lately in my experience. They've pushed out a couple updates lately that have helped with my 9260.
to get the 1733mbps link rate, 160 hrz channel width must be used. This utilize the lower 5ghz channels and the dfs frequencies. Are you able to enable the 160 hrz channel width?
What region do you have selected for your router?

So you've got Smart Connect disabled right? It might be steering you to the lower band.
Correct, it's disabled.
