Nighthawk XR1000 | Worst Purchase So Far... Please help

I want to start off by saying that I've tried to figure things out but this is so frustrating, am I doing something wrong or is this the worst router?
I purchased a Nighthawk XR1000 to help with my Packet Loss/Packet Burst on Warzone. I upgraded from an Obri RBR50 Mesh System with 1 Satelite.
From day one, the XR1000 Wifi Signal works great near the router but disconnects frequently on devices on the other side of the house. So I decide that connecting the RBR50 in AP Mode will help this issue, it works great for a couple hours and then every 5 minutes my devices say "No Internet". I switch between both XR1000 and Orbi Wifi but neither work. Ethernet from XR1000 worked fine.
So now the XR1000 is back in it's box ready to be returned but am I doing something wrong? Or should I only have 1 transmitting WiFi?
House: Approx. 1800 SqFt, Drywall and Wooden Studs, 72' in Length, Router is close to the center, No upstairs.
Something I remembered: When the wifi issues were going on, I was trying to access the DumaOS interface from my pc but it would not load.

- So I'd suggest you disable Smart Connect first of all and connect devices manually to 2.4 or 5GHz. Some devices may have trouble switching between them using Smart Connect and could potentially cause that disconnection.
For 5GHz change the mode from 4800 Mbps to 2400 Mbps instead and you should notice an improvement. Also arrange the antennae to look like this _ | | _ as that will give you optimal range/stability.Smart connect was disabled, I tried it once but had issues of constant switching.
I can try that configuration but I wasn't very far from the Router when ,y phone was having connection issues.
Thoughts on disabling the XR1000 WiFi and just using the Orbi in AP Mode? If this antenna config and 5Ghz doesn't help.
