PPPoE - Set up Nighthawk

Good Morning!

 

I am trying to set up my XR500 on PPPoE on a new internet provider. The old one worked fine but I cannot seem to get the internet through this one.

 

I have the PPPoE username and password. I put this into Internet set up in DUMAOS. Press apply and its still not pulling anything through?

 

Any help would be amazing!!

    What Firmware version is currently loaded?
    What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

     

    Might check with the ISP to ensure all PPPoE configurations and input is correct.

      Thank you for this - I have checked and tried but I am a novice when it comes to this so I am unsure if I am not doing something pretty simply which is refraining the internet pass thru as light is still amber. If anyone if able to support via phone that would be amazing?

        If you want phone support you'll have to go through the support page and go from there. It's not something I can provide and it will cost you potentially.

        As above, what is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to? Do you definitely require PPPoE with this new connection?
  • Once you've set and applied reboot your modem, wait 2 minutes then reboot the XR, wait 4 minutes then check for a connection
