Some question about XR1000
Hi All:
Here's my first question: Does anybody know if the XR1000 supports bridge mode? This feature can be found in other Netgear Nighthawk models such as the R7000.
Another question I have is, how do I set up QoS? Regardless of what changes I make to the settings, I don't feel any improvement in my gaming experience. have any suggestions for the setup?
thanks
Page 146 on the User manual refers to "Enable or disable MU-MIMO". This is not Bridge mode.
I have the XR1000 and XR450/500. They've never supported bridge mode.

If you mean wireless bridge (repeater) mode, then check the manual.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.Looks like it.

Like your first question, you might get better answers in the appropriate section for the XR1000While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Nighthawk Pro Gaming Routers - NETGEAR Communities
Gaming routers have their own DumaOS operating system that is nothing like the one on Netgear's standard routers.
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem. - FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
The XR1000 does not support Bridge mode.

That's not what the manual says. See page 146 "Enable Bridge Mode". But who knows given Netgear's dreadful record on that front?

- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerI would recommend having a look through our optimal settings guides which includes how to setup QoS and that should help: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646 if you still have questions after that let us know and we'll be happy to help.
