XR 1000 and BT Full Fibre 900
I have recently had BT Full Fibre (900mbps) installed at my house. An OTP box was installed that BT said would act as a modem. The BT Home Hub works fine directly though this but when I try to switch to the XR 1000 plugged directly into the OTP box is doesnt work. On the Duma OS page it shows no internet connection but can set up a local wireless network. Has anyone managed to set up an XR 1000 with BT? I called Netgear help and they said the router is faulty and I should return it but i thought i should check first.
Thanks
- It's possible that you require PPPoE to get internet directly through the box, I know BT used to use this. I'd ask them whether you need PPPoE to connect a router to the box, otherwise if you access the BT hub that may have the information there that you can take and then put into the XR.

- Davey1986InitiateHi, thanks for the quick reply. You were exactly right. I put the PPPoE log in details (by default ones) into the internet setup settings and now I'm up and running. Thank you very much
