XR1000 Internet Disconnects every 20-30mins
Hello ,
I just purchased and installed this router and the internet drops every 20-30mins. I have done upgrades to the latest 1.0.064 and downgrades to 44 while doing factory resets after each. I have tried adjust the dhcp scope and statically assigning ip address. All devices stay connected to the route but the internet goes into a disconnect stat. I am connecting the router to an arris tm 1602 modem. I am not sure what else to do at this point. I really wanted to take advantage of the geofiltering and don’t want to return it but running out of ideas.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
In your case the XR1000 isn't one of the Nighthawk Routers with WiFi 6 (AX) and WiFi 6E (AXE) devices covered in this section.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Nighthawk Pro Gaming Routers - NETGEAR Communities
Gaming routers have their own DumaOS operating system that is nothing like the one on Netgear's standard routers.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads. - plemansGuru - Experienced User
You have the arris tm1602?
what speeds do you pay for?
do all devices drop the connection or just wireless?
When it drops, what does it actually say? do devices say "connected, no internet", do they loose the wifi connection? Does the wifi stop broadcasting? What actually happens?
- I have that arris model supplied by optimum my cable provider.

What CAT# lan cable do you have between the modem and router? CAT6 is recommended.
Be sure your ISP services up to the modem is good.
