xr1000v2 doesn't upgrade in Dumas or app to firmware 1.1.0.22hotfix
the nighthawk app doesn't find the new firmware. The dumas router login also doesn't show new firmware and keeps trying to update to a version of 1.1.0.16 firmware which it already has. When you manually try to unzip the new hotfix firmware it always winds up as a .chk file with recovered fragments description indicating error in files. I have run disk check and found no errors in hard drive or windows. Any suggestions? Maybe Netgear can check their firmware zip file? It seems corrupted.

Do NOT attempt to open the .chk file after unpacking it. This file is complete and can only be used by the routers web page. You can manually update the router using the routers web page and a web browser:

It did not work. Tried to use the .chk file but it didn't upgrade. Still says version 1.1.0.16_2.1.25. This is file name after unzipping
Doesn't the .chk in file name and description recovered file fragments mean there is a problem with the file? I tried to use it because you guys said so, but it didn't work. Thanks for any other suggestions. Again the dumas software and nighthawk app don't find the newest hotfix firmware.
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerThe router won't find the hotfix because Netgear haven't pushed it to the router, so you have to upgrade manually. I can't see the image so can't comment on that but it's a router file, not a file you open on your PC so you can ignore whatever the PC says. You uploaded the file to the router and what happened exactly, did it appear to upgrade but after it completed the number was the same or did you get an error trying to upgrade?
