XR500, 2 Playstation Pros, Destiny 2 Woes

Receiving an intermittant error code Baboon via Destiny 2 when teaming up with another person on my local network.  Disconnects only occur when teaming up.   Wanted to make sure it was not my current setup with the XR500 router.

We have both IP addresses static assigned on the consoles

1 PS4 is in DMZ, the other is not

NAT is set to Open

UPNP is on

Numerous forums on Destiny 2 saying I should setup port forwarding but we have two consoles - same network, so I'm not sure if that would serve this purpose.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

This may be a port conflict then. Take the one PS4 out of the DMZ and just leave UPnP on. Reboot the consoles and router and then try again.

  • When does the disconnect occur? When you've tried to search for a game together or at the moment of connecting to each other for example. Are you using the Geo-Filter? If so make sure that strict mode is disabled.

Thanks for the fast reply. :smileyhappy:

      When does the disconnect occur?

Occurs when gaming together on the same team only.  No disconnects when we are seperately grouped or solo in game.

Disconnect is intermittant.   Sometimes when searching for a game while grouped, other times disconnection occurs mid game session - only when grouped.

      Geo-Filter is turned off
