XR500, crash every 24 hour

Hi, from 2 months my XR500 V2.3.2.120, crash every day.

I have tried with a simply reset and a factory reset with a new config, but the problem returns promptly in 24 hours.

Im trying to disable ddos protection, use a dhcp with .50 start ip and i have change the wifi channels.

unfortunately when the crash occurs I cannot enter the router to read the logs, what i could do?

  • Also have this problem with my XR500. Crashes once every 24 hours for a fortnight now, have to turn off and turn on to get it working again.

    Firmware V2.3.2.120

Tried to use the buttons to turn WiFi off on the router but it’s completely unresponsive and won’t load the router admin page at all whether it’s on via or Ethernet.

Done a complete pin hole reset last week and still having this issue daily. What’s gone wrong I don’t have a clue?

It’s connected to a Virgin Media Superhub 4. Wasnt an issue until like 2-3 weeks ago

Just stops responding, drops wifi first then locks up

lxbrador Did any changes to the environment or network occurs prior to this issue randomly occuring? Did you factory reset your XR500 after upgrading to the latest beta firmware? Are you getting any error messages in the interface prior to the disconnection occuring?

LightManeye Are you seeing any error messages in the interface prior to the disconnection occuring? After changing the DHCP range, did you then reserve IPs for your devices within the .2 to .50 range? That's the important bit.
