XR500 NetDuma drops SIP packets

Hello,

I work for a VoIP provider and am home for the quarantine.

For some reason, I cannot get my Polycom phone to play nice with the XR500.

Looking at packet captures from the proxy where the phone is trying to REGISTER with, the register never arrives.

I already have SIP ALG disabled, NAT filtering to OPEN.

I have tried different SIP ports, and I have also tried to put the device in the DMZ. I can access the Web GUI of the phone when I have it in the DMZ, but SIP REGISTER still does not work.

I am on the latest firmware.

Any ideas here?

  • This is actually something we're aware of and will be looking into. The only thing I could think of that would be blocking it is QoS so you could try disabling this entirely from the Anti-Bufferbloat option menu.

I did try disabling QoS via Anti-BufferBloat but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Happy to help if you guys need logs or anything off of my device.

Is there any timeline on a fix? I really don't want to replace this device because it's great for gaming.
