xr500 slow mbps
i cant use my internet speed i test it on speedtest.net but i only have 5-6mbps and originally i have a 1gpbs here in japan when i use my old router my internet speed was like 624mbps

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?Wired or wireless speed testing?
- Are you testing using an ethernet cable and have you disabled QoS in Anti-Bufferbloat options? Sometimes it can take time for the modem to adjust to a new router, during that time the speed can be slower. You could give the XR500 the MAC address of the previous router in Internet Setup and this may resolve it.
yup im using cat7 ethernet cable and i disabled the QoS and options in anti bufferbloat. i didt try the MAC address of my previous router but im gonna try it now tnx for advice

i tried it but it didnt work i try my speed test in my old router i got this speed in speed test but in my netgear xr500 i only have 20-50 mbps by the way i am using PPPoE
