XR500 Wireguard
I can get the hybrid vpn working with openvpn however can't seem to get wireguard going, should it work?
I was planning to use surfshark as the vpn provider. - if the xr500 isn't working with wireguard/dumaos can I flash ddwrt?

- Which firmware version are you currently on? Do you actually see the Wireguard option under the Advanced Setup on HybridVPN?
If you were to flash another software you would not be able to get back to DumaOS and it would invalidate your warranty so it isn't advised.XR500 V2.3.2.134

- Ah okay, it's not implemented currently, you would see it at the top of the config box with a menu for VPN Type to switch between OpenVPN and Wireguard. You'll have to continue using OpenVPN for the moment.
- Great, I bought this router because I had read dumaos supports wireguard and netgear developers stated in 2022 it's almost ready... we have almost 2025, any progress?
- I know you've posted on our forum and I'll respond there also but there were a lot of issues with integrating it so much so that we decided to postpone it. That was about a year ago and since then we've updated to DumaOS 4 which the XR range won't get unfortunately.
