  • I found the fix for this issue and that is to turn ipv6 on. I have supplied a screen showing the settings I have used. Once you do this all ARP TABLE issues will go it seem there's a bug with firmware around ipv6. I have found this also fixes the issues around the wan connect dropping.

  • Just go my xr700 a couple of days ago, and I am having the exact same long log issues...

Any word of a fix or what is causing this?

No news yet, but you can deselect the DumaOS at the bottom if you don't wish to see it for now.
I am just taking a guess here but it looks like a MAC ID lookup for the Device Manager so that when you connect a new device it will look up the MAC ID and resolve the correct device name, but I am guessing it is still in the works hence the Logging.

wildking, you don't need to be worried by the entries in the log file. They are quite verbose and are primarily aimed at the developers for debugging issues. The lines you're seeing should not impact the performance of your router.

I guess something related to these info are N/A (while you don't have wifi clients connected to XR700)

      Hi everyone,

I just got wind of this thread. So I've got a response from the developers:

"The log panel should be ignored by customers. Since it is causing support issues we will probably remove it in future versions. Every message in this thread in benign. The "warnings" and "errors" are simply letting the developers know that we are getting unexpected parse lines (which is very normal!). They have absolutely no impact on the routers performance. In fact this section is about detecting when a device goes offline and has nothing to do with Internet traffic / performance / disconnects, IPv6, etc -Iain "

Got beta FW which can fix the issue. Suggest you can contact NTGR team for the beta FW.
