Do you have more information about what is included in this release? As this is taking so long, my concern is that the backlog of fixes/improvements i growing in parallel. Do we have to wait another 6 months for the next update? Or will there be more frequent updates? Yesterday ran into issues again. Router got reset to factory settings after a simple reboot. Maybe if I know what is included in the release I can wait a bit longer. But I'm at the point of just writing this one off and buy a new router from a different brand.

Every game has processing delay, some include it in their ping calculations, others don't - CoD does, so where the Geo-Filter shows your ping direct to the server, the in game ping shows this plus processing delay. This can be useful to determine whether a server is under heavy load and whether it would be worthwhile to force a different server. Ok, thanks for explaining! I will lower the ping assist to see if that helps in getting better servers. For Ping Under Load you should experiment with the Congestion Control percentages while set to Always to find the best setting that lowers the results. I did what you suggested. First games seem ok with good ping. Ping test under load first time I have an A+ rating. Wasn't aware that congestion control would influence connection test. Thanks!If you connect a device to the router via different methods, 2.4/5GHz/ethernet then it may get a different IP address, setting a reserved one can help prevent this but really it doesn't affect the working of the router. Ok. Where are you checking - in game? If so the Geo-Filter can cause the game to give a misreading of the NAT status, if you disable it then boot up the game and have an Open NAT then you can ignore the moderate reading from then on. Yes, I was checking in game. It is OPEN now so all good. By app do you mean the interface, nighthawk mobile app or DumaOS mobile app? I only found out yesterday that Duma also had an app. I installed and that one works great. It's the Nighthawk one that is very slow.

This is the Firmware loaded after this week's factory reset. I believe it was the same as when I installed it the first time. All cables and signals are good. I had a network specialist do all the cables, connectors, etc. But, with the improvements you shared it maybe already is good for now. I'll let you know after a week or so. Thanks again!

Nice, OK so add a new rule to Traffic Prioritisation for that PC and select Valorant as the service. It may not show up in the dashboard on the mobile app, but it'll be prioritised properly still. You can simply leave bandwidth allocation as it's default if you like, that's a good starting point for most households. Just hit 'Reset Allocation'. Then with your adjustments to Congestion Control, everything should be working nicely.

To add to the above, the next XR1000 firmware isn't far off, we believe to have gotten past and resolved the most complicated issues and are working on completing the rest of the testing that they were blocking. It's hard to give an ETA I'm afraid, as much as I'd love to promise a specific date there's just too many variables blocking that. I really don't see it taking 6 months though, XR firmwares in general are top priority for us at the moment.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

  Thanks for your reply. I don't have any issues with the WiFi. It's just the stability overall and fact that the router still has some bugs and the interface is so slow to work with. The topic I was supposed to reply to is about the lack of VPN.
