The DNS relay server in Netgear routers has been programmed to recognize a number of URLs as "special" (routerlogin.com, routerlogin.net, orbilogin.com, orbilogin.net) and return the LAN IP address of the router itself rather than ask internet DNS servers to resolve the URL into an IP address.
It might worth a few minutes to confirm that this process is working correctly. On the PC, open a Command window (CMD) and type the command:
nslookup orbilogin.net
Does this report the expected IP address? (typically the LAN IP of the Orbi router is 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1, but the user could have set it to some other value during the initial configuration)
In what way does the login fail? (authentication box does not appear? credentials are rejected?)

Thanks for the suggestions - I am not currently in the location with the Orbi Router / Satellite's so I will need to test when I return to this location unless I can test remote? I only have basic IT skills so apologies if I ask stupid questions. I ran the CMD indicated in current location and it reported the expected IP address but I have a totally different system in this location.
