Orbi Parental controls stop working after the iphone app is updated.

Question

Hi,I have a paid subscription of Orbi Parental controls which stops working every time after the iphone app is updated. None of the usage or history numbers are updated. The only way to make it work is to reset the router to factory default which is a huge pain since all my devices will get disconnected and it takes about 3-4 hours for all of them to get connected after I make the change.&nbsp;I am raising this issue with Netgear by creating bug since last one year but no response yet.&nbsp;App version : 2.39.0.26Firmware Version : v2.7.4.24Router Model Number : RBR50&nbsp;Appreciate if someone can help with this.&nbsp;Thanks,CH

Thank you for the update FURRYe38!&nbsp;&nbsp;When I ask the router to find the latest FW, it says there is no update. Does my Router support it? Do you suggest me to update the FW manually which I am not very comfortable doing it.&nbsp;Also, I am not able to add my product to the "Associated Product" section.&nbsp;Thanks,CH

If you update, update any RBS first, then RBR lastly.

Hi,While updating the FW, I get this error message when I upload the file.&nbsp;This firmware file is incorrect! Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product. &nbsp;If I click on update button after selecting the satellites, it gives me below error.&nbsp;It seems there is no way for me to update the FW manually. When I do the auto check, it says there no new FW to update.&nbsp;Appreciate your help.&nbsp;Thanks,CH

When updating firmware manually, did you:

Download both the router and satellite files from the support web site?
Unpack the zip file to extract the *.img file from the two packages?

When doing satellites manually, I prefer to connect directly to each satellite with the web browser and use the Firmware Update menu selection on the satellite home page.&nbsp; After the satellites are updated, then connect to the router and update it.

It is sort of annoying that the two parts of the screen are entirely separate.&nbsp; The router is at the top (above the line) and has one "Update" control and the satellites are below the line.
